News : Couple Arrested For Stealing Flowers From Graves

A St Joseph couple has been arrested for allegedly stealing flowers, plants and other mementos from dozens of grave sites.

St. Joseph Police report they found a lot of the stolen property at the home of Steve Estes and Janice Collado on Tuesday.

Eric Montegna is a manager at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home at St. Joseph, where much of the recovered property is held.

Montegna says he's getting requests from dozens of people wanting to come in and look at the property to see if it was taken from their loved ones' graves.

According to St Joe Police, Estes was jailed on unrelated charges, Collado is free on 500 dollars bond.
