SEDALIA‚ÄĒState Fair Community College has hired Dr. Joanna Anderson as the fifth president in its 45-year history.
The SFCC Board of Trustees unanimously voted at a special closed meeting today to enter into an employment contract with Anderson. She will begin her tenure as the next president on July 1st.¬†¬†¬†Gary Noland, board president stated ‚ÄúThroughout the search process, Dr. Anderson impressed both the board and the search committee with her passion and devotion to community colleges and the students served. He added she possesses an excellent combination of experience and leadership skills to help State fair build on a long history of success and move confidently into the future.‚ÄĚ
