Various activities are planned next week when Rissler Elementary School in Trenton holds a library book fair. Proceeds will be used to fund reading and book-related activities for the students.

Hours for the book fair are from 3 until 5 o’clock Monday through Thursday. Additional hours are scheduled for Friday: 3 until 7 o’clock.
Students can make a purchase during their weekly library class. Checks, including sales tax, are payable to Rissler Elementary School.

Persons making an on-line purchase through April 20th (CQ) will have their name entered into a drawing for a book fair gift bag worth 20 dollars.

The Rissler library can provide the online web site address.

The book fair week concludes Friday night, April 12th with what’s called family fun night activities. It includes a “parent appreciation” dinner as a thank you for supporting the student behavior plan at Rissler School. After a brief welcome at 5 o’clock by Superintendent Becky Albrecht in the gym, the meal will be served in the cafeteria until 7 o’clock. Visitors are invited to view the Rissler School Art Show with an announcement to be made on the best of show winner. Clifford the Dog from Scholastic Book company and a Trenton Bulldog mascot plan to be at Rissler next Friday night. Dave Burkeybile is to have games and music in the gym from 6 until 7 o’clock.
