A Braymer resident was hurt when the sport utility vehicle he was driving traveled off a road in Braymer and hit a culvert. Thirty-two year old Robert Burns was taken by private vehicle to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, with injuries described as MODERATE by the Highway Patrol.
The accident was early Wednesday morning on Route A in Braymer. The Patrol said the northbound SUV went off the right side of the road, and hit the end of a metal culvert. It was at the driveway of a residence. The vehicle was extensively damaged.
The Patrol said Burns was accused of Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs), Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Road, No Proof of Financial Responsibility, and Not Wearing a Seat Belt.
