Two cars collided late Monday afternoon at 28th Street and Highway 65 in Trenton with one driver taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment. Trenton Police says that 55-year old Linda Hodges of rural Mercer was taken to Wright Memorial, with injuries to her neck and shoulder.
Ms. Hodges had been northbound on Highway 65 while a car driven by 21-year old Corey Kilts of Trenton was eastbound on 28th Street. The report indicated that Kilts said he had stopped at the stop sign, and proceeded into the intersection when he did not see a vehicle approaching. Police issued a citation to Kilts accusing failure to yield to oncoming traffic. |
