A public presentation is scheduled next week concerning downtown Chillicothe revitalization. The event on Tuesday, March 19th is being run by the Missouri Main Street Connection AND the National
Trust Main Street Center.

According to Crystal Narr of Chillicothe, four representatives from the two groups will be in Chillicothe assessing the downtown district including the aesthetics, business climate, community involvement, as well as the lead local organization--Main Street Chillicothe.

Ms. Narr, the Main Street program director, said the team also meets with committees, Board members and city representatives while in Chillicothe. The evening presentation is described as a culmination of their findings and insight on growth for the downtown Chillicothe district. Community members are asked to attend the presentation on (Tuesday) March 19th beginning at 5:30 pm in the Strand Hotel’s Community Room.
