Macie Kinsey, a softball pitcher from Belle (Maries R-II) High School, will play softball at North Central Missouri College in Trenton beginning next fall. She is the daughter of Tom and Mendy Kinsey from Belle and will major in business at NCMC.

At Belle, Kinsey was named to the All-Conference, All-District, and All-Region Teams in 2011 and 2012. She played basketball and was a member of FFA, FBLA, and National Honor Society. She also is involved in community projects and received a Volunteer of the Year Award from the Meramec Regional Planning Commission.

“Macie is going to spend a lot of time in the circle for us next year,” said Lady Pirates Head Coach Megan Cairns. “She has good movement and throws harder than most pitchers at this level. Macie is a good student and involves herself in many activities outside of softball; her personality and exceptional work ethic will be a tremendous additional to our softball program here at NCMC.”

Prior signees for the Lady Pirates are Hailey Lowery and Tierney Martin from Staley High School, Jennifer Stock from Oak Park High School, Shelby Salter from Adair R-II High School, Kenzie Musser from Benton High School, and Scotlin Hurley and Avery Whitaker from Trenton High School.
