During a Monday night meeting of the North Mercer R-3 Board of Education, members decided to seek bids for to provide the food service program on a contractual basis for the next school year.
The A-plus assurance letter was signed and will be sent to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
A-plus is a scholarship program for students who meet certain criteria while in high school. The board discussed requirements for a students' picture to be permanently displayed in the commons area for achievements in the F-F-A program.
The North Mercer board issued a three year contract to Kim Palmer to continue as the school principal. She is completing her seventh year as principal. Next year's salary will be determined at a later date. |
