A member of the Spickard Board of Aldermen has resigned. Nancy Anderson is leaving her seat on the town board. The mayor appointed, with city council consent, Janice Vandevender, to the position to fill the remainder of the term until the April alderman election at Spickard.

At a meeting last night, the council approved a contract with Utility Services for water tower maintenance. The council decided to abate a bill for David and Ruth Grooms due to a water leak. Applications are being accepted for maintenance worker at Spickard. The job is open until the position is filled. Those wishing more information can contact the Spickard City Hall.
