News : Casey's General Store in Cameron robbed

Law enforcement officers in Cameron are looking for an individual suspected of robbing the Casey's General Store in northern Cameron just past 4:30 on Wednesday morning. The location is 405 West Grand Avenue.

The suspect is described as 'a white male, dressed in a black colored, hooded sweatshirt that was pulled tight around the face, only showing parts of his eyes and nose'. The man was observed wearing either a black or dark green Carhart work coat with a hood. He also was wearing black pants and either brown or black boots. The suspect was observed leaving the Casey's store on foot.

Anyone with information about the robbery should contact Cameron Police at (816) 632-6521. People should also call the TIPS hotline at (816) 632-TIPS and remain anonymous, if desired. Cameron Police say a reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Pictures of the suspect can be seen on the Cameron Police Department's Facebook page. Only employees of the Casey's General Store were present at the time of Wednesday morning's robbery, and they all remained safe.
