A Maysville woman, 24-year old Brittany Bracken, sustained what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries in an accident on Tuesday afternoon three miles east of Fairport. Ms. Bracken was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The Patrol said Bracken's automobile was eastbound when it went off the right side of DeKalb County Route E. The driver over-corrected with the car going across the centerline and into westbound traffic, where it re-crossed the center line and ran off the road, overturned onto its side, and struck a fence. The car received moderate damage. The driver, according to the Highway Patrol, was NOT using a seat belt.
