Four members of a Kidder family were hurt when a van traveled off Highway 6 east of Jamesport, hit a ditch, became airborne, and hit the ground again. The Highway Patrol said the driver, 27-year old Melissa Potts, and her children - three year old Brooklyn Morgan, eight-year old Zayden Edge, and three-year old Tristan Edge, all of Kidder, were taken to Liberty Hospital with MODERATE injuries.

The accident was Saturday morning nearly two miles east of Jamesport on Highway 6. The Patrol said the westbound van went off the left side of the road and came to rest on its wheels after hitting the ground (twice). The vehicle was extensively damaged. The Patrol said Ms. Potts and Tristan Edge were wearing safety devices, but Zayden Edge and Brooklyn Morgan were not.
