Twenty-four year old Dustie Howard was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield and later flown to University Hospital in Columbia. The Highway Patrol said she had MODERATE injuries.

The Patrol said the southbound pickup went off the left side of Highway 11, hit an embankment, and overturned. The pickup was demolished.

The Patrol said Ms. Howard was accused of Driving While Intoxicated (Prior Offender), Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Road, Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, and No Proof of Insurance.
