Automobile Accidents : Highway 6 accident injures Unionville woman

A Unionville resident, 35 year old Lanna Phipps, was injured Sunday night when her car went off Highway 6 in Sullivan County and struck a ditch two miles east of Milan.

The Highway Patrol said Ms. Phipps received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan. She was wearing a seat belt.

The Patrol investigator reported Ms. Phipps apparently lost consciousness as her car crossed the center line and went off the highway. Minor damage occurred to the car.
