The auditions for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of "Blackbeard the Pirate" will be held this (Monday) afternoon from 4 to 6 o'clock at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center at 2801 Hornet Road in Chillicothe. There are roles for students in Kindergarten through the 12th grade.

Each year approximately 50-60 students from Chillicothe and surrounding communities are cast to appear in a show with the MCT's Actor/Director. Rehearsals will be held this week (January 7th through 12th) with performances at 3 o'clock and 5:30 on Saturday, January 12th on the stage of the perfoming arts center.

A rehearsal will take place immediately following Monday afternoon's auditions. People are asked to take a sack lunch with them this afternoon to use in the event that they are selected.

"Blackbeard the Pirate" is a program of the Chillicothe Area Arts Council. Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions include costumes, scenery, props, and stage make-up.
