The Highway Patrol says a van hit a house in Grant City on Friday afternoon, after the driver suffered a medical condition. The driver, 35-year old Melissa Moutray of Grant City, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Maryville, with what the Patrol described as MODERATE injuries. No one else was hurt.

The accident occurred as the van was southbound on HIGH Street. The investigating officer said the van went off the left side of the street, hit the hours, and came to rest against the house. The Patrol said damage to the house was evident in its foundation, an entry way, and a window. It is unknown whether Ms. Moutray was wearing a seat belt.
