Automobile Accidents : Princeton teen injured in Thursday accident

A Princeton girl, 17 year old April Whipple, was injured in an auto accident early last (Thursday) evening two miles east of Princeton.

The Highway Patrol said Miss Whipple sustained SERIOUS injuries and was taken by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.

The Patrol said the teen was westbound when her car went off U-S 136, crossed a ditch, began to slide, and came to a stop in a field. Damage was listed as minor for the car. Miss Whipple was using a seat belt.
