The first baby of the year born at Wright Memorial Hospital is a BOY, and thanks to the good fortune brought by his timely arrival, the baby and his parents have won various prizes from businesses in a contest sponsored by KTTN and the PAR Broadcast Group.
Sarah Morse of Trenton gave birth to her son at 3:24 on Wednesday morning at Wright Memorial Hospital. The boy has been named Joseph Eric Davis. He weighs seven pounds five ounces and was 20 inches long. The father is Steven Davis of Trenton.
Grandparents include Mark Morse of Maryville but formerly of Trenton and Debbie Morse of Trenton; also Eric and Susan Davis of Farmersville and
Teresa Scholl of Trenton.
Contest prizes to be awarded to the parents and New Year's Baby include a dozen red roses provided by Doctor George and Mrs. Carolyn Garcia; dinner at the Lakeview Restaurant; a pampering kit from Mary Kay Cosmetics and Connie Akers; a baby ring from Sensenich Jewelers; a baby cup from Lauhoff Jewelry, an infant car seat provided by Mercer County Health Department; and four tickets and a parking pass to a University of Missouri men's basketball game this season in Columbia courtesy of KTTN Radio. |
