Two buildings may be a total loss after a fire in downtown Carrollton. The fire started at about 3 o'clock this morning and was under control about 6:30. The two businesses that burned are Carroll County Title Company and House of My Father.
Fire Chief Curtis Shields is quoted as saying the fire appears to have started in House of My Father. A hardware store and a shoe store nearby may have some water and heat damage. Among area departments providing mutual aid at the scene in Carrollton were Chillicothe, Marshall, and Norborne. |
