KTTN/KGOZ News : Positive results described from DAWG's Festival of Trees
Posted by Tom on 2012/11/27 8:21:52 (111 reads) News by the same author

The treasurer for the Disabled Athletes with Grundy Support (DAWGS) organization, Judy Leininger, describes the outcome of Friday night's "Festival of Trees" fundraiser in Trenton as "fantastic". A large crowd was in attendance, with preliminary figures indicating between $6,500 and $7,000 being raised.

Mrs. Leininger said a few expenses would be taken out of the total, but money was also still coming in. Mrs. Leininger thanked those who helped, attended, and supported the activities, and those who provide support throughout the year. Mrs. Leininger indicated the largest expense of the DAWGS organization is transportation to and from the Special Olympics events in which they participate.
