A Weatherby man was hurt on Saturday afternoon when the car he was driving overturned off Highway 6 west of Winston. Sixty-eight year old John Stith was taken to Liberty Hospital with what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries.
The accident was six miles west of Winston on Highway 6. The Patrol said Stith swerved his eastbound car to avoid a dog, and the car went off the left side of the road, into a ditch, and overturned, coming to rest upright. Damage to the vehicle was moderate. Stith was wearing a seat belt. |
