A Green City resident was hurt early Sunday morning when the sport utility vehicle she was driving overturned east of Milan. Twenty-year old Anastacia Thomas of Green City was taken by private vehicle to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan, with injuries described as minor by the Highway Patrol.
The accident was three miles east of Milan on Sullivan County Route Y. The investigating officer said the westbound SUV went off the left side of the road at a curve and overturned, demolishing the vehicle.
The Patrol said Ms. Thomas was accused of Driving While Intoxicated, a minor being visibly intoxicated, Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Road resulting in an Accident, and Not Wearing a Seatbelt. |
