Behind 32 points from senior guard Nancy Berwanger, the Princeton Lady Tigers outlasted the visiting Shamrocks of North Harrison High School on Tuesday night, in a 72-47 final score from the Princeton gymnasium.

Paige Phillips added 16 points for Princeton in the victory, with the Lady Tigers cause buoyed by tremendous three-point shooting, with PHS connecting on 11 shots from 'beyond the arch', with Berwanger hitting six three pointers, Phillips three, with Fallon Priest and Trinity Kile adding three pointers. Kile finished with nine points for Princeton.

North Harrison, in the season-opening defeat, was led by Cooper Sadowsky with 19 points.

The Princeton boys opened the 2012-2013 season with a victory over North Harrison in Justin Collins' debut as the new head coach of the Tigers. We are attempting to find out more details on the PHS victory in Tuesday night's nightcap.
