News : Trenton P.D. to have increased enforcements this week
Posted by Tom on 2012/11/20 7:38:49 (262 reads) News by the same author

The Trenton Police Department's selective traffic enforcement efforts through next Sunday (November 25th) involve 5th Street near Linn, Harris Avenue, and Oklahoma Avenue. Officers will be looking for traffic violations, such as speeding, careless and imprudent driving, and failure to halt at stop signs.

Police Chief Tommy Wright says the Department's newly implemented traffic safety program has been well received by Trenton residents. It is designed to reduce speeding and hazardous moving violations.

Chief Wright said the goal of the program is to be responsive to citizen complaints about traffic violations and remind motorists about traffic safety issues.

Anybody with traffic complaints is encouraged to contact the Trenton Police Department or e-mail Chief Wright at twright@trentonmo.com.
