One person is reported dead as the result of a business fire in Cameron. Early Monday afternoon, the Cameron Police Department received a report of a structure fire at A-1 Mobile Truck and Tractor Repair at 1520 Pence Road. A fully engulfed machine type shed was located on the property.

It was reported to the Cameron Fire Department at the time of the blaze that an individual might have been inside the structure. The department would later confirm one fatality. The name of that individual has not been released pending notification of next of kin. It took about one hour for the fire at Cameron to be extinguished.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal along with the Cameron Fire Department are currently investigating the cause of the fire, with assistance from the Cameron Police Department. Assisting at the scene of Monday's blaze were the Hamilton, Osborn, and KAW Fire Departments.
