Maintenance crews will be working this week in the WESTBOUND lanes of U.S. Highway 36 from Bob Griffin Road to U.S. Highway 69 in Cameron. The work will include closing the cross-over west of the Interstate 35 overpass.
A concrete replacement project will require crews to close one lane of westbound U.S. Highway 36 between Bob Griffin Road and U.S. Highway 69 from Tuesday through Friday. The work zone will include an 11-foot width restriction.
In addition, the cross-over that is west of the I-35 overpass and connects eastbound and westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 36 will CLOSE Wednesday and Thursday. Motorists traveling west on 36 to southbound I-35 will need to plan an alternate route.
The Missouri Department of Transportation encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, and drive safely through work zones.
