Singers and musicians from throughout the Grand River Valley will perform a concert of traditional Christmas carols next month.

Everyone interested in participating in this year’s Christmas concert by the Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra is welcome to attend the season’s first rehearsal at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 20tg, at the First Baptist Church in Trenton.

Additional choir rehearsals are scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on November 27th and December 4th, also at the First Baptist Church. Rehearsals will end about 8:30 p.m. The free concert, “Christmas Before Claus: A Concert of Traditional Carols,” will be presented at 3 p.m. December 8th at the First Baptist Church in Trenton.

The concert will feature traditional sacred Christmas carols sung in four-part harmony accompanied by an orchestra. Doors will open at 2:15 p.m. the day of the concert.

George Brundage of Princeton will direct the choir rehearsals and concert. Buddy Hannaford of Trenton will direct the orchestra rehearsals.
