The Spickard School will hold a Veteran's program on Friday morning at 10:30 in the school gymnasium. Retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Ruth Ann Shipps is the speaker. She is a former teacher and administrator at the Spickard School.

Veterans and the general public are encouraged to attend. They are also invited to stay for lunch afterwards. People planning to eat lunch are requested to contact the school in advance, so an amount of food can be planned to be consumed by those in attendance.
