Trenton High School senior pitcher Scotlin Hurley and senior shortstop Maddie Hooyman have been recognized as ALL-STATE first team selections for the 2012 softball season. Both girls were key cogs in a Lady Bulldog team that lost only four games this season, and came within a run of advancing to the Class 3 "Final Four" in Springfield last month.

Hurley has announced her intentions to continue her softball career at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, while Hooyman will play softball at the next level with the Drake University Bulldogs in Des Moines, Iowa.
