KTTN/KGOZ News : Twenty-five businesses and organizations cooperate for trick or treat night October 29 in Trenton

The ninth annual Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce Trick or Treat Night has been set for Monday, October 29th at the Rock Barn.


Organizations and businesses will have decorated tables set up during the evening, providing treats and tricks to youth attending the activity, scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Youth are encouraged to dress up in costume for the event and those planning to attend are asked to enter through the gate on the east side of the Rock Barn area. In addition to the trick or treating, the chamber will be awarding
monetary prizes to participating groups for the best decorated tables.

Those having tables at the event will be Citizens Bank and Trust, the Preceptor Nu chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Crow-Walker Insurance, Relaxation Therapy, 10th Street Baptist Church, NCMC Student Senate, NCMC Ag Club, NCMC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Hy-Vee Food Store, Chiro-Solutions, North 65 Center, Grundy County Friends of the Arts, ConAgra, Preferred Family, THS Mascots, Trenton Cinema, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, American Family Insurance, Trenton Kiwanis Club, Doodlebug Day Care, KTTN, Coon Creek Church, Wright Memorial Hospital and Scott VonBurg (face painting).

Candy has been donated by Serve Link, Lucky Dog Embroidery, Green Hills Chiropractic, Magnolias, Royal Inn Pizza, KCP&L and Trendz by Sheila. The Whitaker-Eads  Funeral Home will be providing the prize money for the table decorations.
