A father and step-mother have been charged in the death of a four-year old boy at Holt on Monday, October 15th. The Highway Patrol said the boy's father, 34-year old Justin Webb, and step-mother, 32-year old Melissa Webb, both of Holt, have been charged with second degree murder of four-year old Lucas Webb.

The two adults have also been charged with felony abuse of a child. The Patrol said an ambulance was sent to a residence in Holt because of an 'unresponsive four year old boy'. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. An autopsy performed on Tuesday, October 16th indicated the death came as the result of 'blunt force trauma'.
