Trenton quarterback Travis Leeper had four touchdown runs, including a 79 yard effort in the fourth quarter, as the THS freshmen picked up a come-from-behind 28-26 win at Lawson on Monday night.

Lawson led 20-6 at the half, scoring on a first quarter kickoff return, a first quarter touchdown pass, and a second-quarter touchdown pass. The Cardinals only converted on one of three two-point conversions.

Trenton's first half score came on a 32 yard run by Leeper in the first quarter. The extra point attempt by Jonathan Lamp was no good.

The Bulldogs comeback hit full steam in the third quarter, with Leeper scoring on runs of seven and four yards, with Leeper converting the two-point conversion on the first score of the half, but failing on the second.

Leeper's 79 yard run in the fourth quarter gave the Bulldogs a 28-20, and Lawson scored a touchdown later in the quarter, but the two-point conversion failed, giving the Bulldogs the two point win.

The Trenton freshmen are next in action on Monday, October 15th, playing at Lathrop in a 6:30 kickoff.
