A young Chillicothe boy was injured when, according to the Highway Patrol, the motorcycle he was driving went out of control in a mud hole on private property and the youth was thrown off. Injuries were described as MODERATE for seven year-old Lane Sampsel of Chillicothe. He was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center.
Another motorcycle was following the young boy. It was operated by 13 year old Jackson McCullough of Chillicothe, who escaped injury. The Sunday afternoon accident occurred on a levee about four miles south of Chillicothe. The Patrol noted both boys were wearing helmets while riding motorcycles. |
