The Grundy County Health Department holds a flu immunization clinic on Wednesday, October 3rd at the Health Center in Trenton. It runs from 9 to 6 o'clock. The clinic is open to all Grundy County residents. Injectable vaccine and nasal spray will be available.

Those with Medicare or Medicard cards are asked to take those to the clinic for billing. Donations are requested from people not covered by Medicare or Medicaid. The Grundy County Health Department is located at 17th and Lincoln in Trenton.

Around 800 doses were given when the department held a drive-thru flu immunization clinic on Tuesday afternoon in Trenton. That is up by 80 doses compared to last year. The department was assisted by over 100 community volunteers, including Wright Memorial Hospital and the North Central Missouri College Nursing program.
