A Trenton man is in jail after being arrested yesterday on multiple charges stemming from incidents Sunday. Thirty-nine year old Jason Dean Crouse of 600 Normal faces charges of unlawful use of a weapon as well as misdemeanor domestic assault and property damage in the second degree.
Bonds were set at a total of 20 thousand dollars cash with Crouse to appear September 25th in the associate division of Grundy County Circuit Court. Crouse is accused of discharging a 12 gauge shotgun inside the home and in the presence of his wife, Lois Crouse.
Information filed with the court alleges the weapon was displayed in an angry or threatening manner to cause the spouse to think she was in immediate danger of physical injury. The charge notes a mirror was damaged by the shotgun blast.
