KTTN/KGOZ News : NCMC and MU sign agreements to make smooth tranisition of ag classes
Posted by John on 2012/9/21 9:31:29 (206 reads) News by the same author

Representatives of North Central Missouri College in Trenton and the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) at the University of Missouri signed new Articulation Agreements on September 20, 2012.

By establishing these agreements, NCMC and MU have expressed a shared commitment to increasing opportunities for student access to and success in higher education. This is done by clarifying transfer policies and procedures which will assure articulation between programs, assisting students in making a seamless transfer from an Associate of Arts Degree at North Central Missouri College to a baccalaureate degree in Agricultural Education, Agricultural Systems Management or Plant Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
In addition to participating in the signing ceremony, the officials from the University of Missouri made presentations to Animal Science and Beef Production classes and toured NCMC’s new Barton Farm Campus.
The North Central Missouri College’s Agriculture and Natural Resources department offers Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Arts Transfer degrees for students pursuing careers related to agriculture, natural resources and equine management.
