The Trenton Lady Bulldogs outshot the Lady Spartans from Richmond in a head-to-head "Senior Night" girls golf duel at Riverside Country Club in Trenton on Tuesday afternoon.
Medalist honors were earned by THS senior Haley Purkapile, who connected on six pars in nine holes in a round of 39. Chandler Wilson, with a round consisting of four par's, had a score of 41, and Katie Lenhart, with one par over nine holes, shot 47. Other Trenton scores were Karley McCollum at 60 and Lauren Schmidt with 65.
The competition represented the FINAL nine hole day for the Lady Bulldogs this season. Trenton finishes the REGULAR SEASON at the Chillicothe Tournament this Thursday, and the Kirksville Tournament next Monday, September 24th. |
