Donations to the Missouri Day Festival Parade have now paid for more than 1,800 of the 3,500 flags that will be used to line the route and festival grounds on Saturday, October 20th. That announcement was recently made at a Trenton Rotary Club meeting. Donations can be made by contacting Steve Maxey or Rick Klinginsmith.

The Trenton Rotary Club has made a $100.00 donation to the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce for the purchase of Christmas decorations. Also, the Rotary Club will hold a "Fish Fry" in September at the Rock Barn. There also will be a movie (The Dolphin's Tale) and a silent auction.

Tickets for the fish fry are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. They are available from Trenton Rotary Club members.

Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation Director Matt Ostertuhn was the speaker at the Rotary Club meeting. He spoke of fundraising efforts for the hospital, good health, and giving back to the community.
