KTTN/KGOZ News : Gallatin man ordered to pay over $37,000 by the Attorney General

Attorney General Chris Koster announced on Monday that "The Conversion Doctor" and its owner, Eric Graham of Gallatin, will pay over $37,000 ($37,829) to settle allegations that it sold business improvement products to consumers but failed to provide the products.

Graham will pay more than $34,000 as part of a settlement involving his business, "The Conversion Doctor". According to Koster, Graham advertised and sold marketing and consulting goods and services to consumers purportedly to improve their businesses. He received payment from consumers upfront but failed to provide the materials and services promised, or to give consumers refunds.

Under the settlement, Graham is required to pay full restitution to eight consumers totaling $34,329. Graham must also pay an additional $3,500 to the state of Missouri, register to do business in the state, and reform his sales practices.

An investigation found that consumers paid Graham for "consulting services" from 2008 to 2011, but did not receive what Graham represented to them that they would.
