The Brookfield Lady Dogs outshot the Trenton Lady Bulldogs in a head-to-head golf duel on Tuesday afternoon at Riverside Country Club in Trenton, with Brookfield shooting a 206 and Trenton 217.

Despite the 11 shot defeat, Trenton's senior duo of Chandler Wilson and Katie Lenhart played very well, with Lenhart earning medalist honors with a score of 45, and Wilson one stroke back at 46. Other THS scores were 63's by underclassmen Lauren Schmidt and Karley McCollum.

The Lady Bulldogs are expected to add experience to their roster for Wednesday's meet at Chillicothe, with Haley Purkapile's insertion into the team pushing Trenton's numbers from four to five. With five players on the squad, the top four scores will be taken in each team event, giving THS a little bit more room for error.

After Wednesday's meet at Chillicothe, Trenton makes the trip eastward to Lancaster, to play in the Schuyler County Tournament all day Thursday.
