The Trenton Bulldog fall sports teams, with the exception of softball and football, learned their class, district, and potential district opponents last week, with pairings announced by the Missouri State High School Activities Association.

Trenton softball, on Friday, August 17th, learned they would be in Class 3, District 15 in 2012, joining Cameron, Chillicothe, Lawson, Richmond, and Excelsior Springs.

The Trenton volleyball team, unlike past years when they would be in district competition against a number of KCI Conference schools and Bishop LeBlond, instead will be in Class 2, District 14 this fall. This will place Trenton against schools DIRECTLY south, instead of southwest. Trenton will go into a six-team district comprised of Carrollton, Knob Noster, Higginsville, Lexington, and powerhouse St. Paul Lutheran. Trenton opens their season tonight (Monday night) at Lexington.

The defending district champion Trenton tennis team will have a very similar road to trying to win that trophy again this fall, going into Class 1, District 16, along with Cameron, Chillicothe, Maryville, and Savannah.

The Trenton girl's golf team will be in Class 1, District 6, joined by Braymer, Brookfield, Canton, Chillicothe, Kirksville, LaPlata, Marceline, Putnam County, Schuyler County, and Tina-Avalon.

District HOSTS (sites for tournaments) will be announced later this fall.
