Sports : Gallatin beats Milan 7-3 to pick up first softball win of the season

The Gallatin Lady Bulldogs, 24 hours after a season-opening shutout loss to Trenton, rebounded on Thursday night with a 7-3 win over Milan, in a game played in Gallatin.

The Lady 'Cats, in their season opener, had Hannah Sanders go 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored, Haley Thompson 1 for 3, and Emily Sylvester contribute an RBI. On the bump, Alyssa Forster gave up six hits and two walks, while striking out one. Aubrey Nelson had a two-run homer for Gallatin.

In high school BASEBALL, Bevier beat Green City by a score of 4-3.
