News : Princeton hosts 2012 GRM stockholders meeting

The 2012 Annual Meeting of Stockholders of Grand River Mutual Telephone Corporation was held on Wednesday morning at the Hal England Center in Princeton.

Dick Hines has announced his retirement from the Board of Directors, after serving 15 years with the corporation. Kyle Kelso of Weldon, Iowa was elected to the board for a three-year term, and John McCloud and Allan Mulnix were re-elected for three year terms.

One hundred and four people attended Wednesday's meeting and 2,581 were represented by proxy.

The Board of Directors elected officers at their regular board meeting held immediately after the annual meeting. Elected were Gregg Davis of Chula as president, Mark Yungeberg of Princeton as vice-president, Bruce George of Promise City, Iowa as secretary, Ray Meyer of Stanberry as assistant secretary, John McCloud of rural Trenton as treasurer, and Allan Mulnix of Bethany as assistant treasurer.
