The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the work on U.S. Highway 169 in Gentry County will continue on Monday (August 27th), weather permitting.

Asphalt overlay work has been completed on Highway 169 from U.S. Highway 136 to Grant City, with work now beginning involving shoulder rock, guardrail repairs, rumble strips, and striping.

Also beginning on Monday, August 27th, and continuing for two months, bridge joint repairs will be done to the bridge over the middle fork of the Grand River, two miles south of Grant City. During this work, temporary traffic signals will be set up for a one lane roadway with a width restriction of 10 feet.
