The Missouri Department of Transportation has road work planned in area counties this week, including Grundy County Route W, which will be closed at two different locations for bridge deck repairs. Closed today (Tuesday) is Route W at the Shelburne Bridge over Gee's Creek, involving Route W from Route F, southward to the Livingston County line.

Also closed, on Wednesday and Thursday, will be Route W at the Hickory Creek Bridge. The portion closed is from Route F to Southwest 30th Avenue.

Pavement repairs are planned for Friday on Route NN from the Mercer County line south to Route N, with pothole patching planned on routes in Mercer and Sullivan Counties. Work on Mercer County Route P is today (Tuesday) and Wednesday. Work will be done on Route V from Cainsville east to Route B on Thursday and Friday. Sullivan County Route Z, from Route MM to Highway 6, has potholes being patched today (Tuesday), and then on Route NN on Wednesday and Thursday.

Highway 139 in Putnam County, from Highway 136 north to the state line is to have a pavement surface milling and oiling operation on Thursday and Friday.

In Livingston County, culvert repairs are planned for today (Tuesday) and Wednesday on Route V from the Chillicothe city limits to Route K, and Thursday and Friday on Route KK.

Highway 6, from DeKalb County Route EE to Interstate 35 in Daviess County, has pothole patching work being done on Wednesday and Thursday.
