The route has been determined for a fund-raising motorcycle ride September 1st that begins and ends in Trenton. It is one of the events for Trenton High School's Alumni Weekend.

Sponsored by the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce, the “Jail Break” poker run involves stops at the Old County Jail in Trenton, followed by Jamesport, Gallatin, Bethany, Princeton, and back to Trenton to finish at Trenton Coca Cola Bottling Company.

It is being described as a 100 mile scenic route of north central Missouri involving Highways 6, 13, 136, and 65. Registration is from 9 to 10 o'clock that Saturday morning. The first bikes will leave from the old county jail at 9:30. The cost is 20 dollars for a single operator; 30 dollars when a passenger rides on the same motorcycle.

The fee includes the poker hand, a souvenir photo, and a catered lunch. Additional poker hands are available for five dollars per hand.

The Chamber reports the best five card poker hand wins 50 percent of the net proceeds. In addition to the lunch at Trenton Coca Cola, the Chamber says many door prizes will be given away at the September 1st event. For more information, persons can contact the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce at 7th and Main or call (660)359-4324.
