As of this morning (August 3rd) the Stacy Center pool at Princeton will be closed until further notice due to water restrictions in the city of Princeton. Ketcham Community Center at Trenton announces closing dates for routine maintenance.


Dry weather and concerns involving the water supply in city wells prompted officials at Princeton to enact water restrictions. This includes prohibiting the private use of city water for gardening and the lawn; as well as the private washing of vehicles. The Stacy Center announced the water restrictions prompted the closing of the Stacy multi-purpose center swimming pool until further notice is given.

A spokesman indicated that the gym and weight room WILL be open at the Stacy Center in Princeton.

Annual maintenance projects will cause the Ketcham Community Center on the campus of North Central Missouri College to be closed for part of the month of August. The basketball playing court will be closed beginning Saturday, August 4 and remain closed until Monday, August 20. Also, the entire building will close Friday, August 10 at 12:30 p.m. and remain closed until Monday, August 13 at 5 a.m.
