News : North Central Missouri Fair Board announces campaign to construct new grandstand

An announcement was made on Monday morning in Trenton, specifically concerning a fund drive that has been established for the construction of a new grandstand on the existing North Central Missouri fairgrounds.

Rick Hull, a current member of the Fair Borad, made the announcement at the fairground arena:

Donations will be accepted this week during the North Central Missouri Fair's events and attractions. Contributions can also be sent to Green Hills Rural Development, Incorporated, which has a special 501-C3 fund designated for tax deductible payments.

Trenton Community Developer Ralph Boots used the occasion to announce a pledge from the Trenton Lions Club, which has operated the concession stand at the fair for many years:

Boots acknowledged several groups that came together to help the city purchase portable bleachers for the fair, and at other locations:

Approximately fifty people gathered for Monday morning's announcement on the eve of the 2012 North Central Missouri Fair in Trenton.
