Trenton High School Class of 2012 graduate Loren Fox is the new queen of the North Central Missouri Fair in Trenton.

Loren is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phil Fox. Coronation of the fair queen was Tuesday night prior to the outdoor music show.

Miss Fox wins a $300.00 college scholarship and will represent the North Central Fair next year (2013) at the Missouri State Fair queen contest in Sedalia.

The 2011 North Central Fair queen, whose reigned ended last night, will be competing August 9th and 10th when the State Fair queen contest is held.

The first runner-up for the local contest was Trenton High School senior Shelby Lowrey of Laredo. She won a $100.00 college scholarship. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. David Lowrey of Laredo.

The other two contestants--Ronna Owens of Grundy R-5 High School and Cassie Reid (who attended North Central Missouri College), each receive a $50.00 scholarship.

The queen competition was Sunday night in Trenton with the announcement of the winner not announced until the coronation Tuesday night at the fairgrounds.
