Three people received what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries when a pickup truck overturned and hit a fence in Galt. The driver, 22 year old Terry Delauder, and a passenger, 23 year old Amber Delauder, both refused medical attention. Medical attention also was refused for an infant child, Tanner Delauder.
The accident was early Tuesday afternoon in Galt. The pickup turned from eastbound Highway 6 to go north on Halight Road. However, the pickup went out of control on the gravel, skidded off the left side of the road, overturned, and hit a fence. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels. It was demolished. The Patrol said the infant was the only person in a seat belt. |
